11 years and counting
– Amy Tanski
Okay full disclosure. Technically I’m a paid company spokesperson. But my endorsement counts. Because I’ve been working with Jeff for over 11 years. It is the longest I have ever been at the same job and Jeff is the reason. Jeff is not just a “boss” to me; he is truly a work partner in every sense of the word. We are a team and we complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses. He is more social and likes to be in front of clients for 5 meetings a day, whereas I am more introverted and prefer to do the behind the scenes work. I make sure he has everything he needs to be prepared for each meeting. This makes for an enjoyable cohesive experience for our clients. When Jeff first let me know that he was preparing for retirement (with a 10 year plan of course), I will admit to being sad and a little concerned. What would happen to me and my family? I should have known Jeff better than that because in his planning I was part of the succession. I met with Don and have been part of each step of the process of him joining our team. Don and I have forged a great working relationship and I look forward to working alongside him for many years to come. I am excited about this new chapter and I hope all of you are as well. I read once that to make your clients happy, you should focus on making your employees happy. If that’s the case you must be a very happy group of clients.
